Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to PotLuck Planner, a meal-planning and potluck coordination application operated by Fekrah LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using our mobile or web applications, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The Service

PotLuck Planner lets you create and join events, coordinate dishes with other guests, chat with event participants, and receive AI-powered dish suggestions. The service is currently provided free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Your Account

You sign in with a Google or Apple account. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use PotLuck Planner. You can delete your account at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

When using PotLuck Planner, you agree that you will not:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other users' accounts, or our systems.
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited advertising.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, for example by overloading or reverse-engineering it.

5. Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you post (event details, dishes, recipes, and messages). By posting it, you grant us a limited license to store, display, translate and adapt (for example, to show dishes in each guest's language), and share it with the participants of your events and groups and with the people you invite — this is what the service needs in order to function. You are responsible for the content you post, and we may remove content that violates these terms.

6. AI Features

Dish suggestions, recipes, and similar AI-generated content are produced automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided for inspiration only — always use your own judgment, especially regarding allergies and other dietary requirements. Dietary information is provided by hosts and guests and is not verified by us — always confirm directly with the person who made the dish.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fekrah LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as the limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
